The two-day interdisciplinary workshop will focus on improving the landscape of abortion care. In Germany, research and access to safe abortion care are often shaped by stigma and barriers. Through international networking and exchange, the event aims to address existing research gaps and strengthen scientific access and collaboration. Using Story Circles and Patient Journey Mapping, participants will share experiences, clarify research goals, and identify key challenges in the field. The workshop is open to researchers from all disciplines — whether already working on abortion care or planning to engage with the topic in the future. A diversity of perspectives and levels of experience is encouraged to foster a rich and interdisciplinary exchange.
