GLOHRA recently hosted two insightful workshops aimed at equipping participants with practical skills to bridge the gap between research and impact and to navigate in policy advocacy. The workshop was led by Dr. Rosmarie Katrin Neumann from Impact Dialog, who is dedicated to empowering scientists to increase the impact of their work. More than 20 members of the GLOHRA community benefitted from the workshops.
The first workshop on "Impact Training" took place on January 17 2024 and provided attendees with innovative approaches to maximize the impact of their research efforts. Participants engaged in dynamic discussions and practical exercises designed to enhance their understanding of effective strategies for translating research into tangible outcomes.
In the second workshop on January 31st, the focus shifted to the creation of impactful policy briefs. Rosmarie Neumann guided participants through the process of crafting concise and influential policy documents, emphasizing the importance of clear communication and targeted messaging to engage decision-makers and drive meaningful change.
The workshops provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another's diverse perspectives. With their active participation and valuable contributions, the participants enriched the discussions and fostered a collaborative learning environment.
