During the Steering Committee’s recent trip to Brussels, in meetings with EU institutions, funders and partners, GLOHRA was consistently asked for concrete examples that demonstrate how European funding leads to real progress in global health. In the current political climate, sustained support is not guaranteed – and policymakers need visibility of the work and impact emerging from our community.
We therefore invite researchers who have received support from programmes such as Horizon Europe, EDCTP and others to share what this funding has made possible. We are particularly interested in projects that have been running for several years or have already concluded, as these often provide a clearer picture of their outcomes and longer-term impact. Big and small stories matter – they illustrate how global health research makes a difference.
If you have achievements or experiences to share, please email the GLOHRA Secretariat. A brief description or link to an article is enough to get us started. Your example could help strengthen advocacy for global health in upcoming European policy negotiations.
